Refund policy

We have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. Curtains must not have been gathered; all blinds and tracks must be returned with all parts and instructions. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

To start a return, you can contact us at retail@millershome.co.nz If your return is accepted, we’ll send you instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

*Colours, textures, and finishes may vary due to lighting or screen settings. For fabrics we recommend viewing physical samples before making a final selection.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Exceptions / non-returnable items
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards. 

  • We will not accept change-of-mind returns on clearance items, special orders, custom-made or altered goods.
  • Change-of-mind returns and exchanges are not available on fabric and other products cut from rolls.

Online Orders:

To return any online orders please contact us at retail@millershome.co.nz in the first instance.

We are unable to accept returns for online product in our retail stores, unless this has been pre-arranged by our Online team.

  • We do not accept returns on Clearance Product unless faulty.
  • In accordance with our 14-day change-of-mind returns policy or 2-year warranty, we have agreed in correspondence that you may return them.
  • Before you return the Goods to us, please carefully re-read the instructions and check that you have assembled it correctly and complied with any provisions relating to the power supply, plugs and sockets.
  • The Goods must be returned to us as soon as possible after receipt or after a defect has been found, but not later than 14 days.
  • So far as possible, goods should be returned:
      • With both Goods and all packaging as far as possible in their original condition
      • Securely wrapped
      • Including our delivery slip; or manufacturer’s delivery slip
      • At your risk and cost

You must tell us by email to retail@millershome.co.nz that you would like to return the Goods, specifying your order number, date of purchase, description, giving full details of the defect or other reason for return. 

In returning faulty Goods, please enclose with it a note clearly stating the fault and when it arose. You are also protected by the Fair-Trading Act and the Consumer Guarantees Act.

If we agree that the Goods are faulty, we will:

  • Refund the cost of return carriage
  • Repair or replace the Goods as we choose

Packaged products

  • We will accept order cancellations on packaged products that have not yet been shipped. Once the product is shipped any cancellation will be treated as a return.
  • Most packaged products can be returned within 14 days for a full refund exclusive of shipping. This applies to product purchased online only, not in-store. Products purchased in-store can be returned for an exchange or store credit. 
  • We will refund the purchase price using the method in which you originally paid.
  • Products must be returned in their original packaged condition. Curtains must not have been gathered, all blinds and tracks must be returned with all parts and instructions. 
  • We will not accept change-of-mind returns on clearance items, special orders or altered goods.
  • We will credit or replace any faulty product in accordance with our Warranty.

Product cut from rolls

  • We will accept order cancellations on cut roll products that have not yet been cut.
  • Change-of-mind returns and exchanges are not available on fabric and other products cut from rolls.
  • Whilst we do our best to show colour samples in their true colour, these may look different on various screens and we do not accept returns or exchanges for inexact colour representations. If you are looking for an exact colour match we strongly recommend ordering a free swatch, where available, before purchasing.
  • We will credit or replace any faulty product in accordance with our Warranty.

Custom Made Products

  • We will accept order cancellations on custom made products that have not yet started production. Once production starts, custom orders cannot be cancelled.
  • We are not responsible for inaccurate measurements or other details entered by the customer. Where a customer has made an error in a fulfilled order, we will do our best to correct it wherever possible. In such cases applicable materials, manufacturing and freight charges will apply.
  • Whilst we do our best to show colour samples in their true colour, these may look different on various screens and we do not accept returns or exchanges for inaccurate colour representations. If you are looking for an exact colour match we strongly recommend ordering a free swatch before purchasing.
  • We will credit or replace any faulty product in accordance with our Warranty.
